Obviously not seen the queues at Cross Hills post office !! No, much easier to get card payments these days. Cash (and cheques - I don't even know where my cheque book is) are a dying breed.

I load my cash onto a pre pay debit card when I go out, to keep it separate from the current account. When its gone it's gone and no risk of getting silly at the end of the night. Even the New Beehive accepts cards now, which probably explains why he has no cash to pay a cleaner. Not sure about the Kashmir though.

I don't miss having to queue up at Cross Hills post office to pay in the takings on a Monday and try guess how much change we would need so I don't have to walk down again always hoping and praying not to get certain member of staff serving you

What's your business in Cross Hills ? Mines the mortgage brokers next door to Wilman Lodge.

I travel around the country a lot and Nationwide like to block random transactions for suspected fraud (I've rung them multiple times about this). It's lead to me not being able to get food/travel and accomodation unexpectedly, all because they can track every transaction I make and they think they know what's going on but they don't. Not trying to hide anything but I also value my civil liberties, why are you so trusting of multinational corporations with your personal information?

No, I like to go in store because I can physically see what I'm buying, and I can speak to someone there and then if I'm unsure of something.

I also disagree, because now if I want to buy food and drink at VP when I am there I can't, despite having the money to do so. I can't go to any 'other zones' and do that on a matchday because they generally don't let you bring your own food and drink in.

I have also worked all over UK and abroad, the taxman has had his fair share, and I have been self-employed nearly all of my working life, and us self-employed do pay our taxes

Don't get the fuss. Do all you folks who won't pay by card leave your phones at home and pay cash for your tickets so you can't tracked ? Some just love to moan about everything.

Agreed, there’s some sad feckers about when they’re panicking about buying a pie and a pint with a card at Bradford City just in case their activity is being tracked. I bet these are the same folk who bought a 25 year season ticket with cash and lost everything.

Not one of them has sat down and actually thought, why anyone would want to track me? What use does Pukka get from knowing I prefer Balti pies over Chicken? Apart from to stock more Balti pies I mean.

To be fair, I could have probably stopped after thought and still made the point.
