    I knew this was coming.

They'll probably just activate the contactless payment chips implanted by the vaccine we'll have had to have to get into VP come October.

Also wouldn't surprise me if they only work if you take the knee while paying.

What utter bollocks. When was the last time you heard of a City fan being robbed in the street in Manningham? Is there a history of this 'cos, if so, it's the first I've heard of it?
I've never once felt unsafe in Manningham in the forty years I've lived in Bradford.

£9 an hour, £18k a year give or take, even in somewhere as cheap to live as Bradford you’re not living like a king or queen on that. Tip someone a fiver if you can afford it, someone gives me half hour’s wages for doing some good work I’ll be happy. Doesn’t take a lot to put a smile on someone’s face, do it more often.

cue gag. But people shouldn’t moan at cashless kiosks if they don’t like change.

Imagine the uproar when loyalty points on the app for buying a half time drink and a Mars bar start to count for away tickets

I refuse to use the bloody things and have done since they were introduced. I’d rather see a person employed.

To me it makes far more sense, speed wise not to be having to count change out etc meaning we should get served faster(maybe) but obviously for people who don’t regularly used cards there will be a problem, one kiosk in each part of ground could be cash only surely ?

Who doesn't use cards these days?
Should speed things up. Can't see the problem myself.

Imagine going round doing a big shop then stropping like a 2 year old rather than just going to an actual check out.

I've got a 13 and 11 year old and they both have a kids debit card. I put their spendies in every week. They can use it in shops or online. It's got ways for them to save towards goals. Grandparents can send them cash. They can earn extra money for chores if I set that up. It's a great introduction to banking and budgeting and they don't pester me for cash.

Presumably they needed the 70 quids worth of food they'd just spent time walking up and down the aisles collecting, so walking out and leaving it all would just mean they would have to go to another supermarket and waste more of their weekend doing the 'big shop' all over again.
Talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face.

Scottish club, Clyde have a completely cashless stadium. They have an app that you can use to pay for admission to the stadium, buying a programme, buying food & drink, purchases in the club shop, admission to club events etc.

If you haven't got a suitable smart phone, they will supply a card to use instead.

If a club as small as Clyde can manage it, I'm sure City can do the same. I think Ryan has mentioned an app a few times, so I'd imagine this is where we are heading.

Aye, and those that didn't and moaned all the way through about going back.

    Bloody teachers.

It is great for the banks and governments, You earn it and never see it the banks just credit you with a number and keep the actual cash without having to distribute it while making a charge to the retailers for each card transaction it is a win-win for the banks

I'll tell you what else stops with cashless. Those moments when you put on a jacket you've not worn for ages and find a forgotten about twenty pound note in one of the pockets.

Not as if they work long hours and lack holidays in normal times. Chuck in a cracking pension and it’s a life of Riley for these teachers. Start at 9, in the pub by half three, yummy mummies on the gate to chat to, 12 weeks a year holiday, earn half what I do and get double the pension retiring at 55 to go on supply of become an Ofsted inspector.
    Don’t know they’re born.

My wife is a teacher, if she sees this, my phone was hacked right?

Don't know if it's an urban myth, but it was once said many years ago that the ATM in Winstons had the highest turnover of any in the country
