Agree, that Staunton satisfied our '' home player" . Any ideas why the likes of Hudson, Devine, Hawkes et al were not in the match day squad?

I suppose then with Staunton a home grown, the injuries you refer to and the midfield options on the bench, we had little choice with Boateng, Peters, Hawkes and Gunner our only other options? Sykes I suppose in net but huge risk when you have experience in ben Wilson..

I think Gunner is out on loan. Collins also said he wanted a more attacking bench playing at home. I personally think playing two holding midfielders at VP is stupid Colville coming on changed the game and even seemed to get Wright playing

People talking about how the way fans are going on you'd think Killa was a ballon d'or winner or whatever.. just as with the Hendrie situation - spectacularly missing the point - not relevant how good he is (although I do believe he's one of our best centre backs) its how we've treated him we don't like.

Whilst I am deeply unhappy with the way this club disrespects it’s own players, financially on paper this may make sense in the short term. ‘If’ we used the money freed to bring in a Reece Burke then overall it would be a good decision. But there are n’t many Reece Burke’s knocking about. If our team continues to fall apart, saving money and going younger just might prove to be another stupid decision. I hear Killa is a good professional and a leader in the dressing room. Good job we have loads of them! If O’Connor or McGowan suffer a long term injury thankfully we still have plenty of cover?? Still, as long as Edin wins his personal battles and shows everyone who is the boss we should all be happy.

 

Yes Hamilton is a 3 sided stadium with a maximum capacity of around 6,000. It's a while since I was there but both Lanarkshire towns became depressing places after Ravenscraig steelworks closed.
On his days off Killa could find decent golf courses nearby and if Stuart hasn't sold his house Strathaven isn't too far away.

he's undoubtedly our 3rd best centre back - if not second at least, I'm not convinced McGowan is better than him. he should have played for us this season, instead he hasn't even been on the bench.
a model pro, experienced, excellent for the dressing room, and 100% committed and will chuck himself in front of everything for the cause.

It's hard to disagree with any of that Ricc but with the situation being as it is at the moment and it's not going to change he's best out of here. At the moment he may not be good for the dressing room and I doubt he's 100% committed with him being frozen out. For him he needs to move ASAP.

It obviously has something to do with being in the McCall crew or contractual, neither situations will change.

 

Perfect response. As a player 'meh' but in terms of the rotting stature of OUR club under current management it is another example of concern.
