I'm sure there was a very good reason Hopkin never found a starting place for Wright, I doubt with his ability Hopkin would leave him out of the squad when as a team we were hardly pulling up trees, maybe he knew something us fans didn't.

You're a professional but if you're working with Micky mouse you wouldn't be happy with the direction of the business.

Bradford City is a big club in the lower leagues and has 13k-15k every home game which is great but if the club lacks direction or ambition then players will just turn off because the club is fake!

Bradford City need to start acting like a big club on and off the pitch! The friendly with the CL champions Liverpool and signings made yesterday helps!

 

Give over. The atmosphere at City was bad and he was frozen out because Hopkin didn’t rate him. However, the fact is, he stopped putting in the effort and that for me was his crime. Gary Jones wasn’t the most gifted footballer, but his desire and effort still makes him a cult hero.

Fordy for Christ’s sake man, get it into your head that players showing a complete lack of desire, ambition and motivation has nothing to do with owners, coaching staff or fans.

You either show the desire or you don’t and many of the players last season fell into that category. I’m not sure why you constantly try to defend the players that simply did not put in the effort. A lack of skill will be laughed at (Brunker), but a lack of effort (Wright / O’Connor) will simply not be tolerated by our fans....!
