I find fans who so gleefully relish in a players bad time, simply not very nice. Reminds me of the abuse, that November's player of the month, Gareth Evans got in his latter days with us

He was a bizzare signing though, because if you've Payne, Scannell, Doyle and Miller, who are all 'drop into midfield for the ball' type players, why on earth would we have ever needed Wright?

Yes Joe did sing that. I saw them too the Clash. I also like to have an opinion on an unsuitable player. He was not for us.

 

Lighten up mate its Christmas, Edins out of the building, Stefan was there today to watch the total destruction of Scunthorpe United and were out of the bottom 4, things are looking great, I'll take a point from the Sunderland game before a ball is kicked in anger, then again after our result and theirs we might get all 3.

Fair to say a number of players haven’t lived up to expectations. However if your game is being energetic and a box to box midfielder then you are going to suffer more than most by not being fit. The only other positions more so is wing/full backs. And they have been gash. Running theme. It’s telling that the fitter we get the better these players become

My brother played for Bradford Boys U 15s and they got to the final of the Avco Trophy (that tells you how long ago it was!) and they had to go into the ground before the game. So me and my dad went into nearest boozer, right on the corner by the ground (can't remember what it was called) and started speaking to a group of lads. They said you're not from the away team (think it was Villa?) so said no from Bradford and explained why. They said we'll stay behind and cheer them on after the main game. Not only that they actively sought us out, bought us a beer and sat with us cheering Bradford Boys U 15s. Had a soft spot ever since...
