Surprised at a few negative and tentative comments about the lad on here.
Forget Swindon and their tardy words, he obviously became disillusioned with the new management team down there.

Bielsa knows a player when he sees one, and he speaks highly of Stevens.
He's here to enhance his game, not because Leeds want rid.

We may not get the best of him, because he's still developing, however, what we will get could be very useful for us.

 

End product or not, speed in wide areas always leaves defenders on the backfoot and makes openings.

 

If we'd signed Luke Burgess in the summer, we'd have been massively underwhelmed - no appearances for Wigan, 25 appearances on loan in the national league, no professional league appearances to his name. And he's probably the best player we've come up against this season.

 

After it was reported that Lee Turnbull had been watching Scunthorpe the other week it was assumed he was looking at Gillead but maybe it was the other Winger Abo Eisa who is a left footed winger who we will get a look at tomorrow

 

A very poor signing on paper. Poor reviews from Swindon fans, scores and creates very little, not good enough for a team 23rd in league 1 and has a questionable attitude to boot.

And yet after being watch by a team like Leeds playing for Forest Green they were prepared to pay a decent fee. And the manager who originally signed him to play for Swindon was keen to sign him for Salford. So when we see him play a few games we can make our own mind up

 

Gonna have to disagree, we’re basement league club , IMO this ranks as a decent signing for a salary capped L2 club such as us, weve got a premier league loan and he has been playing L1 football until recently.

Tbf, I'd expect him to have been watching every side in this league and most from the ones above and below.
