Gibson is surely the whole reason we have set up the Dev Squad? He has talent but he is also still very raw and learning. Give him time to blossom and we could have a player of reputed talent for years to come, if we don’t cash in on him first.

We were a little lucky with Robinson. Another for the Dev Squad, but he stepped up quicker than expected and is now a first team regular. But most won't become first team players so quickly and that’s why the squad is there. I hope he signs for another season (on same terms) and forces his way into the team next season, when he should be rewarded with a full contract.
