Even though right footed wasn't he produced as a left back and played the majority of his time there at Man U? Surely can't be any worse than Chicksen?

 

Thats even more worrying @Ollylondonbantam, he couldnt dislodge any of the players in those positions.
Having said that weve had some duffers over the years who have been at Manchester United.

 

Obviously thinks being at Man U before earns him a place in the side. What a waste of a wage he has been

I thought a link posted on a thread entitled Joe Riley might have something to with him. Seems it's an article about another a player, Bowyers admiration for the Coventry manager and Riley's not mentioned. Think it's a bit of a stretch to suggest that we can infer some useful judgement of the Riley situation.

 

Is he any worse than Wright?

I’d say these comments indicate that Wright has been given a clean slate and in the opinion of Bowyer, he’s got his head down and grafted and therefore been given the opportunity back in the first team squad. Fair play to him BTW if that’s the case.

My analogy was that similar to Wright, Riley was exiled by Hopkin. Therefore its interesting to hear the thoughts of others if they think Riley perhaps hasn’t shown the same desire as Wright to graft, since he hasn’t been involved at all. Or is he injured or simply good enough?

“Every day they are with me, they have an opportunity. Not just match days but every single day in training.

“It’s up to them to take that opportunity.

“For a player to now turn around and say ‘I didn’t get that chance’ is a load of rubbish.

“It’s the easiest cop out I’ve ever heard because they have an opportunity every day.

“It’s been the same with everybody, not just Josh.

 

In fairness Mulletman, that's not saying much, you'd be better than Chicksen.

 

And yet 4 managers have consistently picked Chicksen ahead of Riley and Wood. Not suggesting he's a world beater but the indication is he's a better left back than either of the other 2

 

To me its the first step any manager should make, clean sheet show me what you offer the team and we go from there.
As I posted IMO Bowyer will do that with McCarten if he can get a perminant move to Lincoln or anywhere else and he thinks its the best to move then we look elsewhere.
Bowyer will have heard about the likes of Wright, Reily, Patrick, this way he makes his own ddecision on what he sees in training.

 

Bruenker, NKP, Chicksen. Is there a limit to the amount of garbage you're willing to defend?

 

I was in the pub on Saturday evening watching Man Utd on BT Sport.

I was chatting to a City fan that actually claimed that it had all gone wrong since we let Bruenker go. they were been serious. I spat my beer all over the place.
