    United's under 23's captain last season and made two first-team starts against Shrewsbury and Midtjylland.

    Exactly what we held to believe. Hope this signifies a genuine attempt to strike the right balance between pedigree, quality and youth in the reshaping of our squad. Wouldn't discount Abbo's input into this. 3 or 4 more + a similar influx of style and proven quality and we have reason to believe.
