    It is a mere 400 miles from Inverness to Bradford.

    If you said to someone from Dingwall (yes you can look it up on Bing Maps) that they were from Inverness, the reply you would get would ‘interesting’!

    Certainly interesting that in the interview o'brien says this is something he has been working towards and has had to be patient, but he's here now.. So either he was on abbot's radar, or hopkin has been in the pipeline for a while maybe

    Best of luck to him and let’s hope he’s a success, but let’s put this into perspective.

    - Wasn’t good enough for Shrewsbury in 2017, loaned him to Ross County.
    - Deemed surplus to requirements at Ross County in 2018.
    - No other club wanted him, left without a club since.

    Our recruitment has been so poor that Hopkin is literally willing to pick up the scraps.

    We badly needed a central midfielder and Hopkin brings one in. Haven't seen him play but looks to have experience which we lack. The positive for O'Brien is he cannot be any worse than the central midfielders currently plying their trade at Valley Parade.

    Is he a central midfielder or a winger? If O’Brien has been brought in to add a bit of experience in the middle, still think we need a proper left winger with pace and a trick. Kazenga Lua Lua is still without a club. Loads of experience, has the attributes and only 27! Wages might be a stumbling block though.
