Could be argued it is better to spend it from day 1 rather than keeping cash back for January

I think the club and manager seem happy with the size of the squad and it's capabilities and there's also a belief that the current set up can get us promoted.
Any money made this season will go on to next season imo.

 

I think we could trim the squad with the aim of bringing in a couple of quality players. Not convinced by any of the back 4 in all honesty, but if we were to aim to bring in 2 quality players, my choice would be centre back and a play making midfielder to play alongside Smallwood. Throw in a couple of tactical tweaks such as abandoning the 'playing out from goal kicks' and I think we'd kick on.

What we are really missing is Walker or Osedebe to link our attacking play. We need another No 10/creative attacking midfielder in January to provide cover and competition in that area.

 

All that extra cash is going to be spent in January..... on energy bills. If only we had earlier kick offs

 

It will have cost pennies, don’t exaggerate.

 

Worth it for who, certainly not the average joe on minimum wage.
It's things like his reported salary , that really make's me dislike the whole entertainment business, not just the high paid footballers, most top sports people , actors , singers, bbc staff. Dont get me started on investment bankers and CEO's.
I am far away as possible from being on the left, but the greed of some of these people astounds me.

 

I'd like to ship out 2 or 3 squad players and bring in another CM. Preferably a proven name that may even cost a small fee but someone to compete with Gillead and East to play alongside Smallwood.

And if the budget stretched, I'd also like a left back (can we move Ridehalgh on?).

Other than that, I think we're pretty much OK.

How would they know how many pay on the day customers , it could have been zero. They will have budgeted for some, but not the numbers we are currently getting. 3000 at £15 say £45000 per match 6 games already £270,000+ cup matches , which yo don't budget for as you may be drawn away. 7 more home games to come by Jan 1st + possible fa cup and pappa johns money ,I think there will be money in the kittty.

Thing with POTD income, how many are adults? Half? A lot of them are kids paying what, a fiver?

I’d imagine the extra income will be laid out on energy expenses?

even if its not, we wanna keep any pot we do have quiet - dont want agents bumping up negotiations on wages etc.

Isn't that the total package.
His weekly salary is meant to be 375k a week but the signing on fee he got plus bonus add ons equate to 45 million a year.
All this was reported prior to him signing as the transfer fee was small, around 50-60 million, but with the stated wage, signing on fee and bonuses all tied into a 5 year deal then the total figure was around the 300 million mark.
Of course its all dependant on how he performs which he is doing so well earned.
