    We were never getting him, the minute a random article in the T & A came out at midnight which has never been done for any of our actual signings it was always going to be the case. It’s either Moore mark II or it’s to hurry along our more realistic target if he’s dragging his heels deciding. Could be a bit of both tbf.

    I can see as always striker recruitment being the hardest. Just let us pray it's not going to be our 7th choice 5 minutes before deadline on 31st

    And yet O'Donnell has played most of the games in his career at championship and league 1 level. Unless you have a standout loan signing like Pickford or you manage to get lucky with a player coming through the ranks, most keepers at league 1 and 2 level are much of a muchness. There is no difference between Hornby and O'Donnell unless you have an agenda.

    There are differences some are better than others in this league as in all leagues as much as Hornby is no great shake he should have started this season because he was the better keeper at the end of the last

    The main difference is one has played more than the other, therefore is worse despite all metrics suggesting otherwise.

    Because I believe that Hornby inspires more confidence in his defence and is a slightly better 'keeper doesn't mean I have an agenda. It's my belief, my opinion and if it doesn't agree with your belief or opinion....it doesn't make it an "agenda"
