I've been critical of Lewis from the start of the season and got stick for it some saying did you see the worldy he pulled off forgetting he just made a blunder for us to go 1 - 0 down unfortunately he's certainly been nothing like last season, I do believe Barnsley getting involved pre season has had an effect on him, he even said himself he was having problems.

Bet you didn't see Paul Warne post match interview, lets say he was far from impressed but very honest with his take on their performance, not applying themselves maybe because they thought as it was Bradford City no contest.

 

Unfortunately a keeper that doesn’t make a blunder is as common as finding rocking horse shit, even the likes of Allison and Ederson have shockers. I can still remember Pickford’s debut for us when people were slagging Parky off for bringing in a kid who can’t catch, he didn’t turn out to bad. Lewis was almost too good last season and even this season he hasn’t made any less blunders than the average league 2 stopper, the Carlisle keeper a few weeks ago against Cheltenham made a mistake worse than anything I’ve seen from Lewis. I just hope the new guy can be a solid enough, but fans and keepers have always had funny relationships, one save he’ll be amazing and one blunder and he’ll be the worst keeper we’ve ever had.

I've posted the kid was not treated right even if Hughes thought what he was supposed to have said was out of order and banished him from the club, there was IMO no need what's so ever to treat him as he did this season but that was under Mark Hughes there has been a managerial change at the club why take it out on Alexander and the fans, we'd love to see hime scoring for Bradford City, once again we hear a video clip where Alexander contradicts himself, one minute he says if he was fit he would be available for selection "if good enough" then when pushed by Jamie with regards not playing him because of the transfer rumours he says he does not have the final word there are people above him he works for.

 

The difference being last season he made very few that was the reason he got the praise he did along with Andy Cook for being the biggest reason we made the play off, so based on last seasons performances his season so far has been poor, first game of the season he cost us playing out from the back and been at fault for a few more Doncaster being the latest.
I'm not basing my opinion on other keepers but on what I've seen so far this season unfortunately the same can be said of Andy Cook not being the same player as last season maybe they set the standards too high hence once they drop below it they get criticised.

 

I thought it was a very good performance from us and we made Derby look average.The win was based on a strong defence and I think Alexander might have got lucky in picking a defence that worked with Stubbs back to his best,Taylors best performance for city and Gilliead having a good game at wing back plus a bit of imagination up front.

 

I feel for Alexander he shouldn't be the one answering questions about players possible leaving.

 

Kind of my point though, he was a victim of his own success. Had this been his first season, despite the mistakes I doubt people would be saying he’s crap. Like with Cook as well, they were never going to sustain form that was well above this level and their team mates. We needed other players to raise their game as them two were never going to stay at them constant levels forever. Personally id rather we were getting rid of those other players first.

 

True, but don't think I can stomach any more bullshit from Sparks. The Twitter neanderthals abusing him are well out of order but it's hard to argue that Sparks leadership on the football front has been nothing short of diabolical (not referring to his commercial successes here).
The cavern between Rupp, Sparks and Alexander appears to be fathomless and explains a lot why are communication is so bad and often unbelievable

I'm glad Sparks has given up social media. I'd encourage any player to do the same. It's often the minority view that shouts loudest.
