Crawley sold Max Watters for £1m after a good half season of scoring goals. If Wimbledon sell Al-Hamadi it won't be for less than seven figures and he's only had just about a year of doing anything at senior level.

It can be done, we just need to hold firm and not buckle at the first offer that arrives.

 

Al-Hamadi's a quality player. He also doesn't have any previous failures on his record.

I could see someone potentially gambling on Al-Hamadi. Only 21 years old, and looks a cut above whenever I've seen him. Not just a goalscorer, either.

 

Wimbledon want a minimum of £1.5m apparently. Loads of championship interest, a few weeks ago the same guy who's printing all the stories about him (guessing he's in with the agent) said that Peterborough were already in talks with Wimbledon over the move to replace Clarke-Harris who is going to be sold in Jan.

Young goal scorers are like gold dust, we shouldn't at all hamstring ourselves by taking a stupidly low offer.

 

Whatever happens with Young, January is going to be very interesting.
I think the squad will be much lighter, which hopefully makes the room for a couple of decent incomings.

Based on today we need a few in especially if GA is going to ignore Chapman, Wilson and the loanees. The bench today was abysmal. I can only guess Pattison was being saved for Stockport.

Exactly they can’t afford to have three men on Cook and Oliver. The more good striking options and attacking midfielders we have the more difficult it becomes for the opposition.

 

Saved for Stockport? What are we top of the league or in the top 3. Last time I looked we were 10th. Don’t think we are in the position to save players for games.

He was dropped from the squad. End of!

 

Pattison is injured

 

Odour and Osadebe are too similar. Both are lightweight and won't get stuck in (for different reasons), both are only capable of putting less than 45 minutes in, and both are too selfish on the ball. My first transfer would be a player of the ilk of Gilliead but with more of an eye for goal. Someone capable of competing for 70+ minutes every game, and can create a few chances. Unfortunately once Walker is out we're noticeably weaker. Pattinson seems incapable of putting 2 or 3 game runs together without going down injured. I also can't see Osadebe going anywhere. Not because we won't let him go, but because he seems happy just to be around the place, playing the joker. With his unfortunate injury last season I can't see many clubs willing to take a chance on someone who still seems to be mentally affected by it.

 

Sadly Pattinson is injured again, felt a twinge in the last few minutes at Doncaster and could be out for quite a while apparently.

 

Will he become another Jake Reeves?

 

Oduor did well when he came on not only scored but would have had another if it wasn’t for Smiths head. He will play there Friday

 

There is a decent footballer in there . He just needs a “ combatative” side to his game . As GA said. He needs to show it 7 days a week!

 

GA likes his players to train hard and show him what they are made of, that way he can choose who to play in the match. Odour clearly has not being doing that. Now that will get on GA nerves. He needs to assess how he wants to conduct himself through life. No point if he can only get it together when he is playing. Plus the others players will not put up with it either. So over to you Odour practice makes perfect.

Wasn’t his National coach critical of his lack of application? That’s probably a failing that so many young players have and the reason they end up drifting out of the league.

It is strange that he hasn't been getting on the bench at least.
