Because he's 28 years old and has only ever been a first team regular in a team that was eventually relegated from the football league.

It was those 3 last season that proved not to be good enough even though Cook hit 33.

Given that Cook won't hit 33 again this season and Walker is still currently injured, once again you're talking nonsense.

I won't even let you into the secret that all 3 have played the majority of this season and we're nowhere near a promotion spot.

One of many League Two players that does well when they're getting regular game time, but at City we never play them so they just look crap in their cameos/rare starts.

It happens a lot, and it's not even because we're doing something wrong, it's just we usually have a strong enough squad that we don't need to sit through 10 consecutive crap 90 minute performances before they go on a scoring spree.

Some of these players will only post decent stats if they're basically the first name on the team sheet, which Abo probably is at Grimsby, and probably was at Scunthorpe.

There is a lot in that. It’s the same with some of these young loan players people expect them to come straight in and start delivering straight away.some manage and with others it takes time.

 

Agreed. Sick of this shit from some of this fan base. "What if the players dont work out or they are injured or whatever other bs that comes to mind". Its football. Everything is a risk. Are we not gonna sign players now? even though the squad is screaming for reinforcements. we're 6/7 points off the playoffs with roughly half the season to go. Thats more than enough time to stage a promotion push

the lack of ambition from some on here is staggering

 

I'm still trying to work out if it's Young, the player who he wants the club to get shut of because he's only had a few good month or if it's the Young that's clearly better than Oliver meaning we've improved the squad.
