If it was true and he did return he'd certainly be replacing one of them .

 

I think its hard to say as Nevers seems a direct replacement but isn't being played. Wright was the same. Then he took his chance and stayed in the team. We need to give Nevers a chance, especially as he looks the fastest player we have.

 

Ive noted a few clubs saying recently that they way they changed their style unexpectedly. Keep the opposition guessing

I'd see bola first hand at Stockport, and I along with probably 90% of the 1400 people there felt he was awful. That's not me being a dramatist, it's me commenting on what I saw.

I'll see if I can grab the highlights of the Harrogate, and if so I will pass comment on foulds. Question, on having watched the said Harrogate game yourself and saw foulds put in a man of match performance would you have commented on that?

Also, you have frequently mentioned we shouldn't judge a player on one performance, you have just done that same thing on foulds.

Bola didn't have the best debut, but I think some of our fans have been unfair to the lad in their assessment. We were at the match and apart from his throwings (which were awful) and being turned once from what we can remember, we didn't think he was that bad. But i guess we all have different perceptions of how players have played

Reasonable fans, see him not having a great game - but generally been OK as the game went on, i.e. scared shitless by the frenetic pace of Stockport to begin with and gradually coming to terms with. But yes 5/10.

The fact he looked OK at the end and in fairness made few absolute howlers, shows he surely deserves a few matches before been written off. Particularly as he'd barely got to know his teammates.

 

I have no dislike of other fans opinions. In fact I love a good chat. And it's interesting to get other people's views.

An example is myself and @Bronco incessantly 'argued' about Rahic (and Matthew Bates ) but it's not stopped us respecting each others opinions on here.

I think people expect to much from players on debut. The trouble is there is no scope for a settling in process because the games are going to be coming thick and fast and it’s a key stage of the season

Frankly I couldn’t care less what you think of me. Name calling is for children. If someone expresses an opinion fine, when it’s b/s I’ll call it out, just like others do . That’s what a forum is all about. Otherwise you know the answer. Right?

 

Can't judge a player on the back of one performance. Wasn't surprised by his performance, he's hardly played and its what he looked like, a player off the pace who needs a few weeks to get up to speed. If he's still passing to people sat in the stand in a months time then clearly we need to question his signing.

 

That’s not the one I was referring to Dave. He confirmed he changed the formation at half time because it wasn’t working with the personnel he had.

I think he said he switched from a back 5 to a 4. In the 5 he was lost from my observations.

You have seen Bola play ONE GAME. And I have formed my opinion of Foulds after seeing him play for us over FORTY TIMES over what , TWO seasons.
