I agree. I said last night if Oliver had scored v Doncaster then Cook wouldn't have got a look in

Oliver also started at Barrow and was subbed after 60 minutes allowing Cook to get the equaliser, that should have got us a point unfortunately we conceded a minute after Cook scored, after that Cook was rightly our first choice.
I can't see us selling cook although it will hardly be new territory for Bradford City, Jimmy Quinn to West Ham on Boxing Day I believe ?.

And rightly so too, no matter what someone pays for Cook its hardly going to get the fans on side, the new signing would have to hit the road running as so far no other of our forwards have chipped in with goals with any sort of consistence apart from Wright.

I reckon MH sees Derbyshire playing off Oliver, with the likes of Eisa or maybe Nevers as other options.

We need to go all out and sign 2 decent central midfield players in my opinion.

It would have been ok last night where the pitch conditions meant passing was very difficult and we should have been hammering crosses in to the box whenever we got chance.

Instead we had about 5 midfield/attacking players standing around on the edge of the box, scared to go inside it like it was Chernobyl or something while Oliver stood by himself in the middle of it.

Two good headers of the ball and smash the crosses in was what was required.

Certainly if we tried playing with two wide men and attacked the box with crosses
But he doesn’t even try then when chasing a game late on so definitely isn’t going to do it from the start!

He did look sharper but the conditions didn't help the quicker players last night, I still don't think Cook is on his way out but your correct I think given a run to get his match fitness back Eisa could finish in double figures come the end of the season.

Cook doesn't work hard enough .

 

Unless a top striker is coming in, which is highly unlikely in January, I don’t see Cook going. We’ve already lost Angol & Harratt, And Young isn’t getting a look in. So letting Cook go would be a bit daft. But its Bradford City so you never know

 

But scores goals, I know which I'd prefer to have in my side.
