Nor can they dictate what anyone says. Unless its a crime or about the refs. But calling a man a woman or vice versa is not a crime

my point still stands, you must understand there's a huge gap between what the FA says themselves as an org and what people say. by that same method of thought why aren't the FA in here telling paying spectators what to do or say?

And to get back on track, what on earth is there to debate about this signing at the EFL. Either we got a fully completed deal sheet, signed by the right people, in by 11pm or we didn't. The fax (yes the EFL are so fat behind the times that they use a fax) will be date stamped. If it's 10.59 and correct sign it off, if it's 11.01 then reject it.

It's not rocket science.

 

May well have been signed off already. Club may be taking time now to do the social media unveil and announce with some fanfare. Alternative is it was rejected and the club are hoping to sweep under the carpet with radio silence.

IMO the club will probably know the outcome.

Maybe - but maybe we shouldn't leave anything to the last minute. If we knew we needed a player we should have done something a week ago with a player that was available. Id say its a valuable lesson learnt (if we don't get our man) but weve been here before...

Lets hope it is worth the wait.

 

I am hoping the deal is done and the club are doing a big reveal on the pitch before tomorrow's game.

It's been 2.5 days since the window shut
I do not believe that there was a late transfer in progress
If there was we would have had a answer from the EFL by now

 

I'm guessing this last minute one only happened because the one earlier in the day fell through when the owner club changed their mind.

 

The EFL would not let us say something is in the pipeline. And when it falls through, us make them look to be at fault.

Out of interest who do you think it will be? If it was anyone half decent then it would be in the press and if not there then I’m 99% sure that it would have made its way on twitter.. While I understand the clamour for some marquee signing that is going to drastically make us not look like the most inconsistent team in the football league I just can’t see it.
