Will Huffer signed as back up keeper. Young and dirt cheap.

 

No lose situation for both player and club! We need a back up keeper and we will need a number 2 at end of this season as hornbys loan is up. If he impresses could well become our back up for next season.I’m Sure he was once highly rated.

In a normal season I’d agree but with covid times and the injuries we seem to be picking up we are relying on a lot to go right for Hornby to stay fit for 12/16 weeks

 

Yeah but if anything does happen to hornby there’s always the emergency Loan were you can even Loan keepers for a few weeks. Huffer will be cheap and he’s still young. Plus am sure we didn’t budget for a keeper when setting out are transfer plans

 

Do you not think he will play if Hornby is injured?

 

Probably not no. Plus this saves on a loan space which is probably another reason for the signing.

 

Why have we signed him then?
