All true, but the behind closed doors match for Walker was at VP (cut short to protect the pitch for Saturday).

I think we will see him play 1st half against Salford in the PJT.
Another behind closed doors match during our week off tied in with hard training will see him on the bench for the Orient or Gillingham games.

Love to have the lad back in full fitness, some decent gametime under his belt for the festive period. We need more linking the front and middle, retaining possession and able to contribute in terms of goals/assists.

I just hope we don’t expect too much too soon. Even though playing behind closed doors , he will take 5-10 games to get up to proper match pace?

    .
Fully agree. That was my thinking on the festive period and even then, with our squad size, managing minutes will be necessary

I think we are all certain MH won’t rush him back like a certain previous manager?

To be fair he’s been brilliant with all those with injury histories. I know Angol is not playing full 90’s but who would have thought he could go this long without another hamstring absence?
Likewise Eisa hasn’t looked too bad so far?

Absolutely. MH says in the article that they'll have to ease him back in.

We've played nearly half a season without him. He will feel like a brand new signing going into a team pushing for promotion when he comes back. I guess his return would see Chapman pushed out wide, giving us many attacking options.

Hopefully so. Chapman is far more effective out wide IMHO. Hopefully Walker will provide the effective link between our two deep midfielders and the attack that we've desperately needed. As well as proving a much greater goal threat himself than Chapman ever will.
