And the big awaited interview in the T&A with chief investigative reporter Simon Parker to get the real reasons Mason left.

I don't quiet get this love in for James Mason. Six months ago he was backing Edin to the hilt and was quiet aggressive in his defence of the German owners on the radio and through social media. There was also the offensive 'I Believe' ticket campaign that was insulting to many supporters. It was straight from the Timeshare salesman copy book and was morally disreputable to treat fans with such a lack of respect. He appears to have lost favour with Edin as season ticket sales plummeted and was reduced to menial duties as Paula took up the reins. He's now the unofficial champion of the disgruntled but is he using the hostility towards Edin and Stefan as cover for his own failings?

Mason had big boots to fill in David Baldwin, and after a few mistakes in the beginning, I think he ended up doing a very good job.

hi Edin, hows it going?
You've done a great job letting Paula take up the reins - I don't think the woman could make a cup of tea, nevermind do her job well.
James Mason was ten times the CEO she is, and will ever be.
he did a terrific job, in increasingly difficult circumstances, just like Stuart McCall did. he left because he was pushed out, not because he wasn't doing a good job, but because Edin felt he knew better. it's going well so far.vanginger likes this. -

Was talking to a chap who sits on our row in Upper Kop (seen him for years but funnily enough was on the same cruise as my dad in September!!), he was there on Tuesday at Stephen Darby night. He said he had a word with James Mason and asked him directly if he had wanted to leave. Mason replied 'Did I f**k!' But he also said change is going to happen, don't know what that means but thought I'd share it....

I believe there are people watching the situation but will these two be prepard to sell, they say there here for the long term but I would have thought that comment was based on the club progressing, hardly our present situation.QCFC BANTAM likes this. -

After Dave Baldwin left that position was a big step up for the lad, he made a few mistakes, don't we all but as for your above you don't have any idea what the guy was fighting against, a losing battle that he eventually gave up on, yes his dream job driven out by the guy you're making out he aggressively backed. lol. -
This dream job stuff is a load of nonsense. He left because Edin didn't want him anymore and he's now behaving like a dumped teenage girl. James is on record saying he and Edin were like a married couple.
-
Yes of course he left, because Edin wouldn't allow him to do the job he was employed TO DO hardly rocket science, -
It's in the Matter of Heart film. James also publicly slated McCall in the run up to his sacking saying results were unacceptable. If he knew after the first six months then why did he push the "I Believe" campaign 18 months in?
-
I can't remember that comment either, I know Edin said it at the fans forum that he had agreed with Stuart they needed 6 points from the Bury home game and Oldham away game, after only getting a 2-2 draw from the Bury game why did edin wait until after the Oldham game, Mccall couldn't deliver his side of the deal -
Hi James,
I deal with facts not fiction. -
Must try harder. -
