We will never know unless the club do it, we know for sure he can score goals given the right circumstances, what happens if interested clubs don't meet the clubs valuation and we won't sell for less than our valuation. Does Young knuckle down and show what he's capable of, Young doesn't determine the fee so the other side of the coin is Young does not knuckle down because he believed what the club were asking was to high, that senario helps no one and I would hope at the early stage of his career he does not go down that route for all concerned.

We can speculate as much as we want from this point onwards. It falls down to two things, either Young doesn’t want to play here any further an is faking injury or City need the cash and are happy to push him out the door. Simple as that

We make whatever money we can from him at this point an move on.

 

The club will have told him to pretend he’s injured. As someone said on here last week, its a clever ploy. Fans turn on him, player gets his move, fans swallow news of departure easier.

Never expected Young to be in the squad after listening to Alexander latest pre Colchester interview, he's been back nearly a fortnight and he's now on the tread mill, yet previously played in Swindon's last three games. anyway game on CTID.

 

Of course, if we are waiting for a last day of the window deal, it might be that nobody meets our valuation so we get a “new” player with a decent scoring record this season, none of this Guthrie or Robinson malarkey.

 

I genuinely feel for you that your so full of despair, that you think our most likely destination is the National League.

If we'd had Evans or Wellens in charge of that squad last season, we'd have got promotion. But if we'd appointed either of them two, knowing Hughes was available, the fans would have been up in arms as Wellens had just been sacked from two consecutive jobs and apparanty Evans isn't ever allowed here!!.

We've five points off the play-offs and we've been in awful in at least a third of our matches so far. That tells me there is enough room for improvement to bridge that gap - which would then mean two consecutive 'decent' seasons.

Of course we could end up 20th. But I don't really see why that should be the case
