I do find it uncomfortable that an owner of another club continually goes public on how a fellow football league club should go about their business.

He should stick to his own club

 

I think Ryan Sparks listens to him. It’s no coincidence that City have started handing out 3 year contracts which is what Peterborough do.

He’s a 50% owner, the ground is owned by a third party who has initiated court proceedings from memory as promises made were said to have been broken. ( It’s ripe for housing!) It all stems from building of the “ new ground” which the club expects the taxpayer to provide interest free loans for , said to come from “ levelling up “ funding, which we know is smoke and mirrors from government.
Without checking that’s from memory.

 

Why are all these clubs expecting free stands and stadiums from the government? Wrexham are at it aswell with their very poor owners…

 

I didn’t suggest it was a free gratis build . It was interest free loans to fund the build.

 

So in this case, the shirt is there for Smith to lose IMO. His work rate is decent and now he’s started adding goals to that, he and Cook are my nailed on starters until anything changes.

Not seen enough from Young outside of this Swindon spell to make him a nailed on starter.

No idea why folk get so precious. Its just one mans/fans opinion. He is allowed to talk openly about other clubs and I dont mind that he has a very obvious soft spot for us.

I could. Someone like Preston/Blackburn. Buy em young, loan them out to L1, hope they develop. Anything up to £500k is chicken feed to an established Championship club.

I think folk forget that Young is only 22. He still has years to develop.
