There is no doubt about it if we continue as we are presently till the end of the season, next seasons ticket sales are going to be one very difficult sell, I wouldn't question why fans didn't renew, as I would not expect to be questioned when I renewed.
We've have had some very testing times over the years of watching Bradford City as yourself and many others investing in season tickets hoping next season will be our season. I am now at a point where I can't see any positive going forward with our present custodian,apart from being self sufficient and just keeping our heads above water.

But we don't know that, playing for Swindon has turned his head, I'm sure if he was to play for Bradford City and showed he was capable of scoring goals for a different club his value would increase, which would benefit both the player and club.

 

You've been around long enough to know no matter what the circumstances are behind the scenes and I'm also sure any club showing interest will be well aware of the situation, so if it was as you post above why have the club not conveyed to the fans he came back with a minor injury pulled up after the first training sessions and has deemed himself unfit ever since, our medical team believe he could play.
That should have no effect on what the club value him at and the buying club as I say will know the background so it's not as if they would be taking a risk of buying a sick note.
We have a situation where we know the club are open to offers for a player, similar to the vast majority of football clubs every player has his price its just another negative to add to the rest at our club at the moment, but makes for good debate.

So why not come out and make the fans aware instead of 116 pages with us fans guessing, we have a figure in mind and if its not met then he will not be sold, he wont be the first player to say he was priced out of a move.

 

Because if any move fails to materialise then the two parties have to live with one another

 

I've no idea that's why I asked were you'd seen it, if it was £200,000 it was very good business IMO, without doubt last season he was right up there with the best in league two but up to him leaving he's been nowhere near that sort of consistency.

The only way any deal would fall through would be if his injury caused him to fail a medical, or our valuation was not met by the interested club/clubs, we'll never know one way or the other because we don't know what the club value him at ?.

The whole 'a player can only play for 2 clubs a season' rule needs updating. Fair enough if it's clubs in the same league, but if a player is being transferred/sold to a club in a different league, the rule shouldn't apply. It would put an end to all this nonsense.

 

Quick question am I right if a player goes to a club in Scotland from England can that player play for another club in England during the same season?
