Actually, I said forget the signings we have made that getting rid of the players that haven't proved themselves is more of a positive sign due to it sending a message that we will get rid.

Clearly though the players are finding other clubs we are spinning it a little but I don't care. Good move by the club! DHM next if he finds another club.

Ismail is long term injured so no hope of him leaving unless we pay up his contract and why would we do that when he might be fit before the end of the season.

French is a young player earning very little who is good enough as a reserve.

No need for us to get giddy yet but at least they are making the right moves so far, getting rid of those who don't or shouldn't have a future here and freeing up space for hopefully more quality.
Sparks is very inexperienced but everyone has to start somewhere, Trueman and Sellers are probably just keeping the seat warm for someone else but after the appointments of the last couple of years I'm glad we aren't rushing into the wrong appointment. Turnbull may well turn out okay and as for Rupp, although he needs to go until someone appears on a white (can I say that?) charger we are stuck with him.
Although I'm not getting over excited things are moving in the right direction taking into account our present set up.

Hornby - Don't you think we are better placed to make that call after seeing him (hopefully) play in the coming weeks? If we see something decent from him I wouldn’t be unhappy if he’s offered a contract as reserve keeper / challenge for keeper spot.

 

Good luck to him, not bothered in the slightest hes gone but saying that its not his fault he never got a chance, yes he warmed the bench but he was always there to be called upon if needed, never moaned, just got on with it, we can and will do better and no doubt so will he, hope he finds a club he can be first choice at
