French is a young player earning very little who is good enough as a reserve.

No need for us to get giddy yet but at least they are making the right moves so far, getting rid of those who don't or shouldn't have a future here and freeing up space for hopefully more quality.
Sparks is very inexperienced but everyone has to start somewhere, Trueman and Sellers are probably just keeping the seat warm for someone else but after the appointments of the last couple of years I'm glad we aren't rushing into the wrong appointment. Turnbull may well turn out okay and as for Rupp, although he needs to go until someone appears on a white (can I say that?) charger we are stuck with him.
Although I'm not getting over excited things are moving in the right direction taking into account our present set up.

 

I'm pleased the club are getting these lads out who obviously aren't going to feature going forward, no axe to grind with any of the players leaving, well done Ryan .

 

At least these players had enough about to not being content picking up wages for nothing and want to play football

Didn't work out with us but seemingly never rocked the boat despite having his own seat on the bench!

Glad to see Management actually getting rid of some deadwood. Hopefully the players signed during this window make us a much better squad. 25 games for us left to go....

 

Back to Scotland I reckon. Very experienced, relatively speaking, but complete waste of time here.

Longridge's transfer got a mention on the Scottish TV sports bulletin just now. He goes straight into the Livingston squad to face Celtic tomorrow.

 

To be honest I can't find fault at the moment with the way Sparks, Turnbull, Trueman and Sellers are going about things.
