I‘m just wondering what you expected,when you asked for our thoughts about Tordoff on your original post?
Did you expect the majority to agree with you?
Are you disappointed that virtually to a man/woman,everybody disagrees with your viewpoint and cannot grasp why you want to sling so much mud at somebody who’s been dead for 18 months?
Are you disappointed that we aren’t rounding up a posse to storm the VP boardroom to rip down any
reference to Tordoff.
Are you also disappointed we aren’t organising a march on JCT 600 headquarters at Apperley Bridge demanding they withdraw all connections to Bradford city?
This is obviously the most emotive subject in City’s history.
Do you not think from the responses you’ve received that it’s time to accept that your thoughts are different to the majority of other fans and leave it there?

 

Time for me to respectfully jump out of this thread. May 11th.will be around soon. My dear departed mum's birthday and the day the those poor souls left us. They'll be in my thoughts.

I’m just a bit bothered by something in your original post

So you don’t think he did much for the club after stopping the club from being wound up and probably going out of business.
You’ve rubbished the most important thing he did(save the club) with what appears to be a throwaway comment.

It’s a long time ago but you seem to be well informed about what happened.
I don’t remember a load of people kicking down the door to put a substantial amount of money forward to save the club.
If you know different perhaps you can enlighten us.

You are bang right about the 87/88 funding issue.
But guess what?
Football chairmen make mistakes.
It happens.
But I think these mistakes are often made for the right reasons.
Once again,if you know different,enlighten us.
In your reply to @Rogered Tart you say you don’t want to speak publicly.
Why?
You’ve bothered to register for here and make lots of claims.
Have the courage of your convictions and make public “what you’re ranting about”

At the moment you just look like somebody with a hidden agenda.

 

Honest thoughts. The man and his business served this club well. I don't know the man personally but others I know who have met him paint a picture of a decent man who achieved a lot in the time he was on this earth. As with the victims of the tragedy, I hope he rests in peace.

 

You sprung from nowhere this week and had a pop at him on the fire podcast thread.

Jack was a gentleman and served our club very well, helping to save us on one occasion.

Let him RIP

 

I doubt if this topic is of interest on here other to anyone other than the OP.
If we're giving a prize for most underwhelming chairman in the last 120 years it goes to Edin Rahic.

 

Have no feelings either way on Jack Tordoff as never met the bloke and also don’t give a feck what any rooms at the clubs are called. Really don’t care.

Can I respectfully ask what your agenda is? It's a bit strange for a poster to come on and post the questions you have in the short time you have been on the forum. Theres nothing out there to say you can't ask these sort of questions but in my time on here I've not really heard anyone have a pop at Jack Tordoff other than the questionable funding of our campaign in 87/88.
