Far from it. Unfortunately life is far more complicated than all the simplistic prejudices and lazy stereotypes in that article.

I'd certainly agree with no help afforded to her for her return, but she if she'd made her own way back then it would have been right to let her in and prosecute her, with the child given to a family who could give it a good life.

Personally l think it's ludicrous to take this decision against a young bonkers woman who poses little threat to our way of life, while at the sane time we can find a way to indulge mature hate preachers with huge influence for years.

Just looking back it seems her father said she was born there but Carnt find anything to confirm

 

Apparently Bangladeshi Citizenship rules state that a child born to a Bangladesh citizen is automatically a citizen until the age of 21 through the mother, Thus both her and her baby have citizen rights in Bangladesh and unless overturned by the courts the UK have the right to take her UK status away

The opposite attitude always fails, generates more sympathy and provides a recruitment boost for people with similar ideals as the child/woman.

Internment being a classic example.

 

But large swathes of the working class left ARE social conservatives (with a small c). Just because you vote Labour doesn't necessarily mean that you are socially liberal. Many traditional working class Labour voters are extremely socially conservative. Brexit is a classic example of that. It cuts right across normal party voting lines. Most Remainers are social liberals and most Brexiteers are social conservatives, regardless of which party they normally vote for.
