    But next time we want to deport someone after they have served their prison sentence what is to stop their home nation revoking their citizenship leaving them with us.

    Populist low rent media driven decision.

    I'd certainly agree with no help afforded to her for her return, but she if she'd made her own way back then it would have been right to let her in and prosecute her, with the child given to a family who could give it a good life.

    Personally l think it's ludicrous to take this decision against a young bonkers woman who poses little threat to our way of life, while at the sane time we can find a way to indulge mature hate preachers with huge influence for years.

    But whatever....... "Ooo Tommee Robinson"...

    Couldnt disagree more. Its about time we took a tough stance agains filth like this. Let Bangladesh take her and her baby in, she has afterall got Bangladeshi citizenship

    BBC. Are saying she is entitled to Bangladesh citizenships rather than she has it. Not sure if it is something you need to claim.

    It will end up in court.

    Weird thing is her kid is still a British citizen so they can come back

    Are you sure ? Bangladesh or british,Father is Dutch and the baby was born in Syria,don't know the syrian laws on citizenship ;)

    If a British Citizen has a child it automatically gets British citizenship.

    Only wiki but I'd think they would have this information correct.....Begum was born to Bangladeshi parents in Tower Hamlet's East London, England in 1999

    Ahhh sure I read moved fo London when she was 3 . Hands up . Could be wrong

    Just looking back it seems her father said she was born there but Carnt find anything to confirm

    Apparently Bangladeshi Citizenship rules state that a child born to a Bangladesh citizen is automatically a citizen until the age of 21 through the mother, Thus both her and her baby have citizen rights in Bangladesh and unless overturned by the courts the UK have the right to take her UK status away
