Reeves was always going back. AlWAYS.
Wish Bowyer will tell him to stop dropping so deep and passing the ball sideways. Comes back and makes us more boring and negative than before.

Theres lots of question marks over Bowyer, but his man management isn't one of them.

Bully no but I would say this he wants the players to play his way as all managers do and some players then struggle to show what they can do in a different role. I know it's not professional football but when I ran a sunday league team a few years ago we had 2 players one a very good central defender and one cracking midfielder who could spread a ball about for fun, during the season we tried something different with the team and both players struggled for 4/5 games then we went back to the old way and they thrived again. We had another lad who during that period got 4 MOM yet didn't get one before or after that change, as they say football is a funny old game.

Hate it when clubs use it as an excuse as it boils down to poor recruitment and letting certain players go.
We all knew Anderson and Devine were useless but still get a contract offer.
Having Doyle, Vaughan and Donaldson was always going to be better than loaning Oteh.
One thing Bowyer doesn't need is more tactical options. He confuses himself.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

Even so, RT ........... Players often have 'an off day' - But surely for more than one to have an 'off month', something isn't right ?Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

A manager will tell you to stop making excuses.......... whilst they have reasons ..........
Psychology is a strange but an effective science ........... Which is a lot to do with Bowyers studies between Blackpool and City, for those who don't remember. It's not what you say, it's how you say it. I for one was not impressed by his treatment of Cooke. You didn't need to hear anything, the looks said more than enough.
And as Vaughan trudges off each game .......... everyone can see by his face he's 'having the time of his life', lol !!Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -
Some Managers throw tea cups around the changing room, whilst some are more 'relaxed', yet use terms such as disappointed, let down or failed etc. These are terms which get inside your head, and have you feeling guilty ..... Which is actually a form of bullying.
I am in NO way implying I've heard any such conversations between Bowyer and any player/s, but I have seen this approach used many a time in my various working positions - And I DON'T like it.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -
