Is Gary Bowyer a bully ?

    Now there;s a question and a half to get you all munching upon...........

    It is no coincidence that Cookes performances have dropped a few notches since his sending off. When you actually look at the players faces, you can see when they are enjoying themselves - Something seldom seen, these days.

    Bowyer paints himself in wonderful colours, forever telling us how 'great' he was at Blackburn and Blackpool ........ But was he ....... GREAT ?
    No one knows what goes on behind closed doors, but I strongly suspect that Bowyer has instilled a 'play MY way, or you don't play attitude'. He is asking (nay - demanding) that his squad of League two players adapt to Championship level football. Effectively, he has taken key players out of their comfort zones, playing them in unfamiliar roles. Our latest performances and formation appear to suggest he is playing 8 - 0 - 2, so NO wonder we are just scraping the odd point !
    YES - Bowyer speaks well in public, but the players do his real talking on the pitch.
    And don't forget - In post match interviews ....... It's never HIS fault !!

    That is a strong and quite frankly ridiculous suggestion. Are you suggesting that by not playing Cooke in his more favoured attacking role, that Bowyer is a bully?

    All I have heard from players, is how good Bowyer is at man managing.

    Just look at Reeves, his come back under Bowyer is a minor miracle, can not imagine that happening within a Bullying culture

    I wouldn't say bullying I should imagine it's a case of you play in this position do as I've explained or next week your benched for not following simple instructions.

    There might be question marks over his style of football at the moment but Bowyer isn't a bully, the complete opposite judging by the players comments. Can only see this threads comments going one way.

    Come on that's a bit strong,

    Look,we're all disappointed about his boring negative tactics at the minute and how he seems to go into games worrying about the other team.

    Yes, since he's been here he has been a FAILURE and Bradford City/ Rhodes was FOOLISH to give him a 2 year contract.

    Yes, he's loves taking about what he did at Blackpool but has done nothing here.

    Yes, he is BORING and the crowd were singing BORING BORING BOWYER on Saturday.

    Saying this he is far from a bully mate.

    Reeves was always going back. AlWAYS.

    Wish Bowyer will tell him to stop dropping so deep and passing the ball sideways. Comes back and makes us more boring and negative than before.
