    If I bought a high spec HDMI would the picture improve, its was just ok, but used to watching 4K TV.

    No. It's not limited by the cable. It only broadcasts in 720p at 25/30fps so you need about 4meg internet connection to get that

    Ours is about 12-15mb I think.The pic seems not quite right.

    Was really impressed with picture which was smooth with no judder at all, Have fibre broadband and connected by HDMI cable from a Dell laptop to a Sony 55 inch TV with no problems and a really good picture,

    Are you able to plug your HDMI directly into your laptop? I have a MAC Laptop but I need a special connector in order to plug the HDMI cable. The picture was certainly watchable it just wasn’t as good as our normal TV picture. We have a 4K Sony Smart TV. But as @SimonW@SimonW says, they broadcast for laptops and mobiles, so are not interested in getting the TV picture right. I don’t have fibre broadband, we are still getting ours through copper wire from the green boxes.
