    There is of course the minor inconvenience that 15 or 16 of the current squad have contracts beyond the end of the current season. And as we proved in the last transfer window, there weren't too many takers for them then and I don't expect many takers in the summer irrespective of which league we'll be playing in next season.

    It's not a simple matter of which players we'd all like to keep; it's more a fundamental issue of which players we'll be forced to keep!

    A better manager would get Doyle scoring goals. He's a proven goalscorer at this level, never mind in league 2, he's just got absolutely no confidence. But then again neither would I if I had to feed off 80 yard hoofs against defenders twice my size.

    His goal on Saturday was superb. A great pick out from Payne and his movement and finish was top class. They're the opportunities he needs, granted he's missed a couple but what striker doesn't. Dare I say in McCall's team or one who plays similar, he would've had 20 goals this year.

    Exactly. The same core of expensive players will be under performing next year as well.

    He would either find that extra yard more often, thus giving him the high number of chances he requires as a poor finisher, or he would find the division far too physical.

    If he stays, he needs someone vert talented alongside him.

    I would be listening to offers for most. Think Doyle could do a job in L2 so would try to keep him. A fit Scannel too but he will be on a whack.

    Sykes-Kenworthy, Wood, Gibson, Devine should be looking to keep these and give them a proper taste of L2 football. I would also keep Joe Riley. I wouldn't wield the axe just yet on him. Still think he has something to offer and a season in L2 is where he can find his footing. Versatile too.

    They more or less can all go for me coaches included. This season has shown that mentality is just as important as supposed ability and to a man this is a squad of mentally weak individuals with no heart or balls for the scrap that is lower league football.

    Very tough one for me not many but I'll go with the below;

    1. Billy Clarke - I'll be honest I wasn't impressed when we brought him in again at this level. However I think he's more than good enough to push towards promotion in League 2. We hear the old clichés about how new signings love the club etc but I believe he cares and will more than help.

    2. O'Donnell - I understand he's a bit erratic but for me has won us more points this season than he lost. As good a keeper you would find at league 2 level.

    3. Caddis - Probably would of only needed 2 games for him to win POTY, a real professional who Chicksen should learn the art of stopping a cross from.

    How tragic that I can only pick 3 out of the whole squad? Shows how bad it is really.

    cant really argue there, clarke fills the role of showing the squad how to give a shit about the club that pays their wages. would maybe keep wood as he has potential but I would gladly start pre season with 0 players if it meant josh wright was off the books. he is utterly symbolic of everything wrong with the club
