Good point, someone in Spain can watch it, despite being able to get to Bradford by plane in less than the time it would take you to drive from the Deep South

 

At high risk (vulnerable due to immune deficiency caused by preventative medication ) Covid, 1, distance and difficult place to get too.

I haven’t wasted a year and a half for a “live” football match. I don’t really have a choice and there’s a few on here in the same situation who are probably less inclined to talk about it.

Of course it is, but isn't it also good that people like Kev who although living in this country is unable to attend games in person due to distance and health reasons wants to support the club? If the facility to do so is there, shouldn't he have the same rights to watch games as someone living in Spain?

Back to the OP. Yes you can. I’ve been using the service since the beginning, and it’s improved year on year, so I’m looking forward to this weekend. It costs me 160€ a season and that includes all games home and away. FA Cup matches are audio only. Depending on your internet speed, the games are in HD and very rarely lag. Commentary is via BBC Radio Leeds. I love my Saturdays in front of the tv, weekends wouldn’t be the same without it.

Pre Covid was pre Covid what’s that got to do with anything . I knew then I had two options, now there are three, but because of short sighted , ignorant, people I and many others are denied that third. I would be more than willing to pay far higher than any gate fee to watch the game.

If your are told keep away from crowds, wear masks in enclosed spaces, your two jabs are about 20 % effective you might understand.

I imagine it's horrendous being denied the chance to watch live games Kev and I sympathise.

Perhaps if enough people made the request the FL could look at allowing streams within the UK for people with confirmed medical issues that prevent them attending live?

It would certainly be a messy, difficult and expensive thing to implement so I doubt they'd even show an interest but it should be possible if there was a will from clubs to help their fans.

I think they would still refuse due to the fact that the clubs don’t want the Premier League doing the same thing

 

Idea is great in theory but clubs would fear fewer fans attending matches and spending whilst there, never gonna happen but would suit me for away games if it could be sorted..
