I use the US and pay $7 for the match. Seems to work ok for me

 

Twice now I've managed to buy a match pass only for them to not let me watch the game. Think I'll just give up and stick to radio when I can't get to games now.

 

Are you attempting to watch it on your laptop or phone? I use my phone and it seems to work a treat. Close all my apps, then change my VPN location to US, go to the City website, sign in and go to match centre to buy the match pass. I then close this down when the purchase is complete, the open the City app to watch the match. Give that a go

 

That's exactly what I tried today! As soon as I press the watch live button it says you can't watch this in your location. What vpn do you use?

 

I use Express, seems to be reliable enough. Had issues when I used to try it on my iPhone but now I'm on Android it seems to work ok.

 

I'm on android and use Express too. Oh well it isn't meant to be I suppose.

 

For clarity, UK users will be able to watch tomorrows game by buying a match pass.

 

Not up on Ifollow @EwanJM, but are you saying if it's a bad night and someone doesn't fancy traveling down to Valley Parade they can buy this game as a one off ?.

 

The rules regarding iFollow for UK users are as follows. And this relates to live streaming...

All matches which take place between 14.45pm – 17.15pm on Saturdays are unavailable to UK iFollow subscribers to watch due to black-out rules. Any mid-week match, which is not being shown on Sky will be available to UK subscribers.

On Bank Holidays, it is at the discretion of the clubs involved whether they choose to show the match on iFollow. Some matches were shown on international weekends earlier in the season, but that was a trial and in future this won’t be the case.
