    Not sure tbh. I haven’t bought any food at the ground for many a long year. However, the curry was great, very reasonable but can’t remember exactly. Think it is called Food to Go or something like that, on the left as you are walking towards town. You can sit down inside and eat it as well.

    No Bronco, it is CGC who have the contract. Personally I've never had a problem with their food in all the various places I've had it around the ground. Food ratings are like every other rating, all it takes is a missing paperwork trail and the inspectors get an instant hard on!

    Just a brief point. I usually have a meal between 12.00 and 1.30. I then do not usually eat anything other than fruit or sometimes a biscuit until an evening meal. During the week that is between 6.00-7.00. At a weekend I often eat later than that.
    So why would I want to have a pie and chips or a burger, when for 340+ days a year I do not have something ‘chunky’ to eat in the middle of the afternoon.
    Frankly I am not really bothered about stadium food.

    Ratings are a snapshot of the standards of food hygiene found at the time of inspection. It is the responsibility of the business to comply with food hygiene law at all times.

    This includes:

    • handling of food
    • how food is stored
    • how food is prepared
    • cleanliness of facilities
    • how food safety is managed

    My bad I'm getting my nicker's in a twist I read it as new a catering company who were going to improve facilities and heard Tiffins wanted to take on the catering side of the club, and I'm given to believe Edin screwed that deal up too :(.

    On none football days I very rarely have a drink at lunchtime, unless out for a meal.

    On football days I have two occasionally three pints before a match. Don’t feel the need for alcohol or food at a game. I take my own coffee.:cool:

    If in (your) town and am having a lunchtime beer the Peveril of the Peak or the Britons Protection are my choice. Like Home as well. :thumbup:

    All good. Nice pint of Landlord at Home.

    The Britons is the best pub in Manchester for me in the winter. Real fire, good beer and a stunning choice of whisky. Used to do some food music upstairs as well.

    Isn't it Centerplate (previously known as Lindley's and now owned by Sodexo) who run the kiosks on match days? Or are Centerplate and CGC one and the same?

    I really like it when someone admits that perhaps they got it wrong. Shows maturity, confidence, and an ability to change their view. I think it is a great personal strength! :thumbup:

    I just wonder how you ever get to the point of being able to compare eating a curry to swallowing a raincoat. :unsure:
