How Many Points will City require to maintain League 1 status?

Bit bored so had a go, definitely safe with 50, i’ve got 48 as safe. Top end, think 93 will be needed at least for 2nd.

I think the question has become irrelevant after today....

 

Surely 4 wins, 4 draws, 4 defeats should be enough for dates in 49 points but can we do that?

 

In my honest opinion no. The stats back it up, the form and aptitude suggest too.

And 49 won't be enough, add another 2 points and maybe so. But 5 wins from 12 games when we have won 12 from our previous 54 games or less than 30% of the points available since the turn of 2018.

After another Shrews win tonight 2-0 v Donny sending them 6 clear of us same number of games...I'd say that we are unlikely to get whatever number points needed to avoid the drop !. It is going to take a monumental turnaround in form in the final 12 games ?. We seem to be intent on wasting the Portsmouth game by handing control back to Drury ?? one third of the failed "Three Stooges" who set us up to fail in the Summer !. So realistically we have 11 games left some of which look out of our reach as winnable ?. I think my friends we have accept we are mired in a complete mess. I want Evans through that door like yesterday as to me he is the only one on an otherwise lame arsed list of potentials ? He might create a response ? but if not he's 100% the man to set us up in League 2 next season.

 

Too many. Simple really. This collection of supposed professional players is not a team and hasn't a hope in hell of survival. For one thing, they need fight. They don't have it in them. Don't get me started on the ability front!
