If I hadn’t witnessed our demise myself over the the last 2 years,I wouldn’t have thought it was possible to smash our club into bits. Not through malice or forthought, but sheer ignorance on many levels. I am giving Rahic the benefit of the doubt that he did not do this deliberately. Stefan for niavity on a grand scale.

What is required now is for Stefan to listen to both Julian and Gary. Yes it will require funding and just hope he can provide the appropriate funding to build our club. I also hope he has a good measure of patience, as although everyone will be trying to get us back up, it may take a couple of seasons.

We also need a big dollop of luck, something we haven’t had for awhile.

Knew we were stuffed at the Guiseley friendly. Spoke with Patrick before hand who said preseason had been “different” with a very unapproving look, clearly wasn’t a fan. Stood near the dug out near the chuckle brothers (Abbott and Collins), neither had a clue. The way we ambled around the pitch, beaten on strength, pace and desire rang serious alarm bells as early as July.

 

Yep, came away from that game and the Park Avenue one and was extremely worried. In fact I couldn't quite get my head round what I had seen, the way we were completely out run and out fought by these lower league teams, the fitness of which put our overweight meanderers to shame.

 

To be honest, I would rather look forward to a new era now under Bowyer, if as seems very likely its league 2, so be it.

I'm sick of dwellng on all thats gone wrong under Rahic and Rupp now.

Hopefully Rupp redeems himself, backs Bowyer, and shows a bit of interest in us

 

With regards Patrick, a group of fans started a supporters branch at The Manor Pub, Patrick and Robinson were there and our lad went over to have a word.
During the conversation Patrick said the German Fitness and Conditioning Coach Robert Lossau was getting them doing stuff in the first week of training that you shouldn't be doing until your well into pre-season training, he actually said if Lossau didn't stop pushing the squad players will be pulling muscles and the like and so may not be fit for the start of the coming season.

 

That cant be overstated. I would love to see a timeline of events from when Edin first got in contact with Stefan about investing right up to them officially taking over.

 

To my eyes, it all started when Edin took everyone to Germany on a piss up pre season. Massive smacks of wanted to be liked, but I knew it would all go tits up as soon as people started to see him for what he really was.
Oh. And that dvd he made too.

 

For anyone thinking to build a squad to get us back into league one is a doddle.
Take a look at this line up in the 2912/13 season, that just scraped into play-offs.
Not one of our current crap would get in it.

Did not go to VP last year. Would not support the club whilst it was being torn apart within. Knew what was going on and so did many on here. But it fell on too many not willing to listen to the likes of McCall and Mason. Instead, they put their trust in an investor who was here living his dream. No matter who he sacked, belittled. His arrogance showed no bounds. Its a shame to the staff, the clubs and the fans that he is not here to be accountable for his actions.

Astounding this was allowed to happen at an established top end league one club (at the time obviously), but totally understandable given the man who was in charge at the time - Rahic. What a cancer he was.

Exactly Chris. Rumours are the club spent more this year than in any of Rahics first two years in charge. Just shows what a mess he built.
