Can't really feel sorry for him I think he must have well and truly been sold the "Edin " dream
and he must have fallen hook line and sinker for it
This was his decision no one else's did he consider why Grayson and other applicants turned the job down only Collins was vain enough to take the job
A good manager DH may be the jury's out but poor judge of character if he fell for the "spin"

 

Anybody blaming Hopkin needs their head examing. What the hell is he supposed to do?

No teams at this level have zero good players. They all have some players with ability.

 

It’s not on Hopkins. Of the stuff we need to look at he’s way down the list. He probably regrets taking it.

Until Edin gives Hopkin some new players were stuck with what we have got. Its not his fault they seem to be a poor bunch and you cant really blame him for trying new things that may seem daft, he really doesn't have much choice.

Hopkin is an idiot, The definition of Lunacy is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting a different outcome, His blind devotion to 3 at the back and other formations and team selections that concede midfield and give the opposition 60% of the possession time after time and then eventually conceding goals will see us relegated unless he changes or we change him, Getting rid of a non football league manager for one who is also non football league with no experience of the Football league may have been another Edin *@?$ up

 

Hopkin accepted a tool bag full of disfunctional pieces not fit for purpose.
Some choose not to except what was on offer.

Can't blame him for inheriting a team that would struggle to stay up in Division 4 and having to work with Ego.
There's no point sacking endless numbers of managers.
No manager in the World could make a success of our Club in this sorry state.
I'd give Edin until VERY early Jan to give funds to the Club for players before calling for Edin's head.
Then give DH until the end of the season with new recruits.
If DH doesn't get a HUGE wedge of cash from the owners by the 2nd of Jan then there is no hope and DH should walk.

 

His record is one of the worst in our history and indeed the football league, He needs to improve us and get points or ship out

There are lots of mangers out there with good football league experience, We could have poached one but prefer them out of work and cheap, In history Parkinson would get better out of this squad as would Cherry, Even McCall while not been brilliant would have got better out of this squad

 

We could have Pep Guardiola assisted by Jurgen Klopp and still be in 23rd, Hopkin deserves a transfer window to sort this mess out, hopefully we're not too far adrift when that time arrives

Didnt have many suitors in the Summer.
He's on a hiding to nothing at the minute even his boss has fled the country.
The owners ask for our support, very little to get excited about were I'm coming from unless you know different.

 

No, we could have looked at experienced managers and tried poaching them to the club even employed at other clubs pre season,
But we have made our choices and as they say we have made our bed and must now lay on it,

 

Hopkin deserves a MASSIVELY funded transfer window.
If he gets that and we still go down then fair enough, he can take some blame.
If he doesn't get that then I want Edin out on the 3rd of January and keep Hopkin.

 

Parkinson relied on a solid back-line, it would still have been a disaster (but not his fault).
TBH I don't think he would accept the job for ANY money as we are; that's probably why he left early doors.

 

Lunacy to blame Hopkin he only has players available to him that were not of his choosing and frankly a good proportion of those are not good enough. I wouldn't put NKP, Wright, Akpan, Kai B or Riley In a Sunday league team and McGowan, Chicksen and Mellor look like league two players at best. Doyle is being forced to play as some sort of target man which isn't his game at all.

I think I posted a while ago that it wasn't too late for Edin and he could win people back round. He appointed Collins who was a disastrous appointment and I'm afraid my patience with him has gone. I'm not even that bothered if he gives total control to Hopkin now I genuinely am fed up of hoping he'll see the light I'd just like him to go. His treatment of pointy shoes is a disgrace it's like some kind of wierd self harm. Edin might be clever in a way but he's also thick as feck as far as I can see!
