After he’s had a couple of years and a decent budget to sort the clusterf*ck he’s inherited.

 

He's a dead man walking with his current record.

 

Unfortunately the game is as much about preparation as it is application.Not doing too well in either are we!

 

If these were his players I would agree he should be blamed but these are Edins and Abbott's who have both fecked up our club.

What would this achieve though?

IMO he just needs rid of the whole management team around him. I can’t help but think that the issues we are seeing are so deep routed, and that anyone in management and behind the scenes who are still here since last season, are either with the owners regime or also so against it the atmosphere within is toxic.

I still maintain this squad is not the reflection of the current position. But what the owners have done is made an environment that is impossible to work in. Look at Newcastle, similarities to ourselves.

My hope in Jan is that Hopkin clears out the team around him, brings in his own that can create a barrier between the playing squad and all the other sh*t going on behind the scenes , and adds in the 4-5 obvious additions we need to starting XI.

For me, no changes to the management team (excluding Hopkin) equals relegation.

You’re wrong. All in all this is the worst squad I can recall us having. The ones we had that struggled in league 2 were better. I wouldn’t back this lot to stay up in league 2. Talentless and gutless

 

Agree it was already fkd but that was the nail in the coffin for me keeping those 2 clowns.

Hopkin plays dire football. Payne out wide? Really??

 

Nobody can roll out the old chestnut of it being a decent squad anymore, its the main reason we are sh!t. Full of over rated shite. The keeper is decent and young O’Brien ploughs a lonely furrow and Wood puts in a shift but thats about it.

 

Fair enough. Simply my opinion, but I believe that this squad should not be in this position. I’m not saying we’re top 10 or that we don’t need significantly better additions, but believe on paper there is enough there to not be in the current position.

That’s said, to completely contradict myself, the issue we do have is a spine of a team with the balls to pull us out of this sh*t.

 

He did say the other day he was looking at all staff.

If R&R are serious about backing David then they should have no problems in him getting rid of whatever staff he wants so he can bring in some new ideas. It's hard to change the players now but we can change the coaches and that might help so let's do it! We have to do something!
