Hope so.

If he is that hard tackler we've lacked, it will be interesting to see how he performs alongside Reeves. Personally, I think it might call for more of an attacking midfielder than Reeves, but it will depend what formation we play I guess.

I saw Kennedy play - didn’t strike me as a hard man, just a nasty piece of work. Seemed to shirk if he came up against someone who wasn’t afraid of his reputation.

he did some good stuff but I agree he was nasty. From what I remember if someone got the better of him he thought nothing of taking them out,often studs up, with no attempt whatsoever to get the ball. Obviously I was younger then and thought he was fantastic but still recognised it as cynical

I disagree Kevin. I think he was a good footballer and did like a battle.....but from what I recall whenever he lost a battle he turned nasty and took the man out with no pretence of going for the ball

 

I get you're being tongue-in-cheek, but other than a hard learning curve, the red card didn't help anyone - us or him.

But then the world's best players have been sent off at one point or another.

Red cards won't end a career, but they are clearly a negative thing with no positive ramifications whatsoever. There isn't really an argument.
