Ex City flop? Everything that was good about that side went through him in that second half of the season. Lead the line really well.

Showed yet again that Bowyer doesnt have a clue what his best team and system is.
If we play 442 the midfielders we have get overrun because he didn't think it was necessary to get someone with the bollocks to put themselves about.

If we play 532 our fullbacks get battered because yet again our midfielders dont work hard enough to get out wide and support.
It's all down to Bowyer. Constantly picking the likes of Palmer, who bottled at least 4 50/50 challenges and should never play for us again. Cooke is our only decent midfielder but Bowyer messes him about that much I dont think he knows if hes supposed to be sitting or getting forward.

The guy is clueless. Hes got a very decent squad apart from a few individuals who need shipping out, but he doesnt have a scooby how to manage players or how to set them up tactically. He needs to go or we can kiss promotion goodbye.

The atmosphere was good first half for the 10/15 minutes where we played well but there was always that nagging doubt that Scunthorpe were passing the ball around well. Once the goal went in you knew the inevitable was coming. I think yesterday was a culmination of a season that promises a good end but ultimately will fall short. 28 games in and we get worse, bit by bit, each week. Stats paint a playoff picture, the real world paints an entirely different one. The second half yesterday was a new low in season in a season devoid of anything really tangible to hang your positive hat on. And that was after an encouraging first half.
What an earth did he say at half time? The fans could sense very quickly it was going badly wrong, Bowyer seems bereft of ideas on how to counter it. Pretty much all the games this season could have gone either way. Worryingly the last two haven't, we were lucky to escape with a draw yesterday and Crawley deservedly beat us. This could go wrong very quickly if Bowyer keeps swapping and changing things, when you get to the stage where you're praying for a scruffy 1-0 here and there usually the writing is on the wall.

When Bowyer arrived, almost a year ago ........... He had little, if any impact on the team (results and performances). But that was OK - They weren't HIS players. This season again, we have entered a phase of little (Bowyer) impact. To some, that's still OK ........... As Bowyer says - "The players are not following my instructions."
The common theme with GB is it's never HIS fault......... Sorry Gary - But it is your fault. It is down to you to instruct and ensure each and every player knows and understands their role. This obviously isn't happening, and is clearer week by week. Sort it GB, or step down and let someone else in, who can.

There's no denying the football is terrible and we should be performing way above the level we're at.
My concern is that the toxic atmosphere and targeting of players like we saw last season, is creeping back into valley parade again. The players will go back into their shell and we'll slide down the table. We as fans, can't drag VP back to very place we hated not 10 months ago, where players were drained of any confidence they had.

We're in a good position, false possibly, but still in with a chance. Booing only encourages the opponents and gives them a lift and brings us down. I can't see the board replacing Bowyer so what does the club do?

He's got to sort that midfield out. One good enforcer in the middle of the park could transform this team, with maybe a right back thrown in.

I don't know what he said.
I was driving along the Aire Valley Trunk road and had it not been for the lane guidance system on the car waking me up from the constant drone of him voice I wouldn't be here now.
That man could talk a glass eye to sleep.

Underrated player is Pritchard. Has a decent goal/assist record as well.

When will people realise we aren't actually that good. Another game where we looked like a division below the team we were playing. Had enough of this.

It also kind of worries me that ppl are saying, let’s wait til Donaldson is back, let’s wait til Devit is fit etc. Let’s wait til Doyle is back.

Without any clear direction and gameplan from the manager, it doesn’t matter who’s coming back if no one knows what they are meant to be doing.

The most telling comment came from jones. They are not competing and winning the 50 , 50 balls... I am not sure if he can coach but that boy could compete and tackle. So am inclined to listen to him.

Bowyer has himself to blame for pissing away that easy December we had. Should've been a max haul of points. Played all the out of form teams at the right time and dropped point after point. He's made a rod for his own back the pressure is massively on in my opinion.

Look at the pre match comments. Everyone KNEW what to expect today in terms of performance and approach.

Those that back Bowyer seem to be doing so on the basis of an argument that 'substance over style' has to be the way in league 2. Even if you put aside the fact that Swindon, Exeter and Crewe are up there and playing good football - what substance are we talking about? We have the highest wage budget in the league and we're just about in the playoffs, falling away from the top 3 and our performances are getting worse. He clearly cant get anything like a tune out of our attacking players and hes under performing in relation to the resources hes been given.

We were second best throughout today. We put 2 good moves together at random for the goals but other than that we were disjointed, disorganised, bottled 50-50 challenges, looked devoid of any confidence and were outplayed - again. We dont look like we're coached properly and performances are going backwards. This side wont even finish in the playoffs.

    Bowyer Out!

He was an embarrassment to the club himself and Bowyer, offered nothing all game, there must be a clause to say "if fit" he must play the man was dire.

I can't for the life of me understand how Palmer stayed on the pitch for 90mins. I was shocked to see him start if I am honest. I thought both him and Reeves might be on the bench.

However, Palmer started and it you think go on then show us what you really are about because since he's been here he's been dreadful. Today he was a disgrace... he ran about, pulled out of 50/50 challenges, passed the ball real bad.

He has to have something in his contract that means he has to stay on the pitch if not then I don't know what Bowyer sees in him as he's is a bad player.

    Send him back!

Harry Pritchard has been put up to do the presser tomorrow with Bowyer. Thats suggests to me he'll be involved on Saturday.

That will be good news. Every time I've seen him, he's been a solid 6 out of 10 at the very least
