Their manager Matt Taylor only lasted a couple of matches as a City player despite signing a contract in 2013.

 

Good side that have been in this league a while now so know what it's all about. Have to win though and i think we can!! Not a big believer in having gaps like we had over the weekend helps the side, but i think with our injury crisis it might have been a blessing in this case. We should start at 1000mph in theory!

 

It’ll be a tight affair. As mentioned, Exeter have been in this league a while and have flirted with promotion for a few season’s, without quite showing enough quality to get them over the promotion line.

I rated Nicky Law highly when he was here - during both stints for the club. Six goals and 3 assists for him so far this season; not to mention the 10 goals and 5 assists last season for Exeter. He evidently makes them tick - very much like Pritchard in our case.

I hope to see Pritchard and Connolly back involved.

Very much with both you and @Bradford End on this. PROVIDING both Pritchard and Connolly are back, then yeah ... Why NOT a 2 - 1 Win ? No matter who plays (or doesn't) it will be a tight game, for both Clubs to play. I doubt a Draw will settle this game ...... A Chess game, I think - The better mind will Win.
Will I place a bet, this week ? No way - It can go either way ..... Possibly the hardest result to call in L2, this week

 

I think its a must win game this one, get back into thick of it. Can't afford to lose with teams below us now picking up wins.

 

We need to get a grip in midfield and not let Law spray it around at his leisure. If we play like we did for last 30 minutes against Crawley they will run rings round us.

 

That's our best team with who we have fit imo.

 

Oh my days. Oh well lose this and we steal a march on others for plans for next year.

 

Not one for "Bigging Up" the opposition, I tend to take the view let the opposition worry about us we are at home, if you consider they have a 300 mile trek up the various motorways and looking at their last two away days at Cambridge 0-4 and Scunthorpe 1-3, seven goals conceded it hardly breeds confidence in their most optimistic fans, my guess is they would take a point now before a ball.is kicked.

Hopefully we will have players back from injury coupled with the team having a week off they should be chomping at the bit to get cracking, surely we should have enough in the tank to take 3 points.

 

Tough game. Law was treated very unfairly by some when he was here. I thought he was a good good footballer, give him space and time we will be in for a tough game, but hopefully with Pritchard and Connolly back we should have enough to nullify Law and Co and get I think a tight win. But we must not switch off over any of the 90 mins.

 

As Wrose bantam says, they like every other team that visit VP, would take a point before kick off.
All the more important then that we start every game in top gear and score first, so teams can not just sit deep and defend.

 

Oh the near 5/2 on Exeter is BIG. Having some of that.

 

Very good price is that but while I'm not shy of backing against us at times I firmly believe we'll win this game.

No real reasoning or sense behind it, I'm just very confident and can feel it in my water
