It's time to turn up the volume on this awful league.

Law will be dangerous but it's time Bowyer gets the best out of Vaughan now.

 

Sadly, on the evidence so far, Vaughan looks passed it now.

I've to question how Bowyer can't get the best out of Doyle and Vaughan.

I hope you're wrong about Vaughan being past it because we need him to start firing now.

Whether Bowyer is not getting the best out of him or not, all I am seeing from Vaughan is someone who is more interested in trying to buy free kicks, and then losing his cool when the refs dont fall for it.

 

I'd love to see some through balls to our forwards. When was the last time you saw a striker in a City shirt have a one on one with the keeper?

Two things on this.

1) you need a forward or fowards to play off the defenders shoulders think Vardy,Wells etc
2) CM that can create space and produce the through ball.

Wells and Jones perfect but not sure we have the players to do the above now.

 

We might have said player in midfield but do we have someone who can play off the shoulder of defenders, Otech possibly but not Donaldson or Vaughan.

Dominic Poleon seemed to have them every week, sadly he always missed them!

 

Simple, he plays them too far outside the box, dropping deep for the chip ball forward. Everyone said he did it to Doyle at the beginning of the season just to piss him off, and ironically it was at games like Grimsby and Oldham where Vaughan got to play right up top and scored strikers goals, but now hes asked to fill the gap between midfield and up front as our centre mids are too deep.
Its not the player, its what hes asked to do.

And that's one of the reasons I say Bowyer is a negative manager

 

I agree. He is a points over performance manager, like PP. We either win dull or lose dull. Win people are happy which papers over the dullness, lose and it shows us right up.
