Angol and Eisa got injured but Lavery and Robinson aren't match fit which was supposed to be the plan so in that regard we have failed

Since Dennis says Lavery and Robinson aren't ready to play and we're in trouble if Cook is injured I can't see why you didn't mention them

Exactly. In his eagerness to dominate every thread, @Kevin1954 is now putting his own slant on what another poster is stating, to prompt an argument . It's clear to me what Dennis was saying....and it's a fact!!!

BOTH Angol and Eisa were signed early in the transfer window , which meet the criteria Dennis referred to , but then later in the sentence added Lavery and Robinson., One of those was only signed yesterday, one was signed very late , just before the season started. That why I deliberately didn’t mention them, precisely because they didn’t meet the criteria Dennis referred to “ Practice playing in the Adams style and by inference fit and raring to go ( at the start of the season)

A player signed yesterday can hardly said to be conversant in playing the Adams style and be as fit as the rest of the squad. Hence not meeting the point Dennis was making and precisely why I didn’t mention him.( nor Lavery).

That's bit you're missing glad we finally got there the reason for the lack of fitness is because we didn't accomplish our goal of assembling the squad early we've signed two players late on and neither are match fit that is why they are relevant to the discussion and can't just be ignored because it's inconvenient

Dennis made a good point whereas the counter riposte was less good because you're only talking about two players that got injured well forgive me if I'm wrong but two players isn't a squad so you're talking about the squad talk about the whole squad and not just the ones that suit you which is what Dennis did and you didn't
