I've praised him for his defensive work before today but today he achieved very little never presented a danger that I can remember

 

As others have said we should have got wise and attracted a few free kicks in and around that congested box..

 

I thought they were well organised second half and stayed in the formation to frustrate us and it worked. Yes we missed some sitters but once they went 5-4-0 when that big lad came on and with the way we were playing I just couldn't see us scoring.

 

At the end of the day Adams is the one who job is on the line with regards decisions on and off the field, where as the backroom staff would still be hear, in Adams I trust.

Since Dennis says Lavery and Robinson aren't ready to play and we're in trouble if Cook is injured I can't see why you didn't mention them

Exactly. In his eagerness to dominate every thread, @Kevin1954 is now putting his own slant on what another poster is stating, to prompt an argument . It's clear to me what Dennis was saying....and it's a fact!!!

BOTH Angol and Eisa were signed early in the transfer window , which meet the criteria Dennis referred to , but then later in the sentence added Lavery and Robinson., One of those was only signed yesterday, one was signed very late , just before the season started. That why I deliberately didn’t mention them, precisely because they didn’t meet the criteria Dennis referred to “ Practice playing in the Adams style and by inference fit and raring to go ( at the start of the season)

A player signed yesterday can hardly said to be conversant in playing the Adams style and be as fit as the rest of the squad. Hence not meeting the point Dennis was making and precisely why I didn’t mention him.( nor Lavery).
