I wonder if we can tie a rope to Watts waist and every time he looks backwards we can spin him around to have the right way again.

 

Starts with the Coaches and we've seen the best and the very worst.No player motivation, tactics worse than basic and the players brought in haven't shown enough.Not the level of approach and application we should be entertaining as a professional club...nor from an amateur one either.

 

I honestly think T&S will be managers at the start of next season but will be sacked in December with talk of another rebuild in summer 2022 with the aim of promotion in 22/23. I don’t think Sparks will have the balls to sack another manager after giving them a contract.

I think I need to make an end of season resolution to take a break from all things City for a few months and get some sanity back. It will go well until I see a T&A headline in the street saying, 'Sparks backs Trueman and Sellars for new season' or 'O'Donnell reappointed as captain for new season' or' Clarke, Evans and Donaldson can't wait for new campaign to begin' and it will all start up again. Is there no escape?

 

No I’m talking like we have a fanbase 3-4 times that of most league 2 clubs playing in a PL standard stadium. All other clubs of our size that have found themselves in the lower leagues have bounced back quickly. Why can’t we?

 

I think a lot of lack of ambition, and happy to have a club to support, is down to the way ML and JR ran the club. The constant talk of no money, leaving VP, been on the edge has drilled the worry into some peoples heads so much they are now worried by any talk of over spend

 

Any mention of spending money sends some on here into a quivering wreck, citing admins and having no club to support.

 

It should be difficult for me to say after 60 years plus, but strangely it came easy.

Well it's good to see these two hand plenty of fresh ideas to help get us out of this slump.

 

On this one I agree with Fordy, Sparks and Rupp have to make a decision quickly if they think T&S are the guys to get us up automatically next season - and nothing less than this should be tolerated or in our thought process. If they do then T&S have the summer to build the team that can deliver this, but if there are serious doubts they should not be given the transfer window and pre-season only to then leave in October and yet another manager will be scrambling around next January to assemble his own team

Sadly for the guys, two weeks from now we will see the duo removed from their posts. They tried, then they changed keeper for little reason . The opposition sussed we had a weak link in goal due to no lack of confidence in the 6 yard box. We paid the price and team confidence ebbed away and look at us now. That chaps, is poor management and we have to recognise it as such.

Thanks for trying, it didn’t work , lesson learned.
