I thought both sides did well on it, and credit to the ground staff for getting it on, the most obvious time the pitch let the player down was first half when I believe their winger played what should have been a simple out ball to a fellow Plymouth player stood a couple of yards away and it stuck in the mud leaving us with a chance to clear the danger.

The awful pitch suited Connelly. Hit and run!

I thought Reeves and Akpan did well all considering.

Can't really judge players today on that pitch.

Lucky to get the 3 points considering they were down to 9.

 

He needs to stop backing off and backing off though Dave, lets his man run at him and get in the area, once in the area he can't make a challenge in case of conceding a penalty. He needs to engage his man outside the area and make a challenge.

 

Here you go guys/gal's not the best quality for either sending off's still not sure of the first but the second Sarcevic was already on a yellow so no chance that tackle wasn't going to be another yellow stupid tackle.

Lucky ? Did you see the chances we had Connolly was excellent. But Stuart nearly made the same mistake that cost us at Grimsby moving him away from the right give them more freedom to play down that side and they looked a threat. But overall a good three points. Got to do something away now

 

Can you tell him we haven't won away for a while?

Lucky as 9 men shouldn't be in a game.

They'd chances too and out played us football wise at times.

They looked a better side than us.

 

I thought the first half was our easiest game of the season. They did play well second half with ten men but we could have had five

 

Thought we played the conditions better than plymouth today. Actually thought they looked poor, even with 11 men they were poor. The biggest positive is the fact we are creating chances. When you think back a month when we hardly had 1 shot on target per game.

 

They played well with 10 and better with 9.

Me feeling 11 v 11 we would of lost today but look it's 3 points.

We need to beat Salford and get an away win.

Akpan was total dog doo doo today and so was Mellor and Henley-all get a 3 from me.

Everyone else a 6 and Connolly an 8.

I wonder how many sitters Donaldinho has missed this season? 10?

Plymouth looked a good organised team. Won't be surprised if they go up automatically. And great away support. Hardly sang but neither did we. Too bloody cold.

 

Can we beat Salford next Saturday and virtually put them out of the running for a play off place making it 4 teams playing for two play off places ?.

 

So happy to see a win on my first home game attendance, was rocking the front row and really got into the spirit of the game after the second goal, my cousin told me I was screaming my lungs out and I didn't even realise it! Will be attending against Leyton too! Looking forward to the atmosphere again

One thing sad is I couldn't manage to get my hand on the matchday programme... probably my fault for being so nervous to get in... my bag got stuck in the turnstiles! Haha.

The food is also hella overpriced.. and damn is the Hot chcolate only good for warming your hands.. tasted awful. The amount of easy goals we missed too was a little frustrating but made the game a lot more tense...

All in all we loved it. Hopefully he'll become a regular and so will I, season tickets next season too hopefully!

 

Maybe we have found our lucky mascot in yourself, do keep on attending .

 

Don't get the constant dislike of Mellor amongst some and I also don't see where you give him only 3

In the first half, that defence kept a good team honest and to be fair Mellor played it very well. I think you're so annoyed with the last few weeks you now fail to see a decent performance - easily Mellor's best of the season (but admittedly that's not saying much)

 

Mellor defended okay, but once he was in possession he was like a rabbit in headlights.
