I thought the first half was our easiest game of the season. They did play well second half with ten men but we could have had five

I am not annoyed at anything. Mellor is not good enough for this club if we want to entertain the notion of promotion in the future. Along with quite a few others.

I'm tempted to say that I cant recall many, if any worse right backs at City than Mellor. But we also have Adam Henley on the books.

Hopefully both get binned off in the summer.

 

Stop wasting your life trying to argue if Mellor is a decent footballer. You must have better things to do?

 

I personally thought we were quite solid until Mellor went off.

 

He missed the bit where Connolly was smashed into the wall of the TL Dallas stand.

Just watched the highlights and their first is a straight red. If you stop the video just as their lad makes contact you can see his left foot is raised off the floor and over the ball.

As for the second sending off. Their lad got his first yellow for dissent and the second for a badly timed challenge on Connolly. Only himself to blame as both times he gave the ref something to think about.

Henley should go and watch videos on how to defend. Shocking positioning of his body showing the lad inside to have a shot.

 

Sorry @Fordy117 but that is utter rubbish. AOC has had one, possibly two poor games out of the 5 games McCall has been in charge. Equally, he had a couple of sloppy games at the end of Bowyer’s tenure. I’d still rather him than any of the other centre halves on our books.

For me, Akpan is one of the first names out of the door, with Mellor, but although I wouldn’t have AOC in the first 6 names to be released

 

Just to put a smile on your Bantam Supporters, as the clubs official Stato I used to have a small office along with the PA man at the far end of the main stand's upstairs corridor. As a full vegan football club there was nothing you could buy to eat or drink that wasn't vegan, even the milk. For that reason I used to take a Bovril cube to make my H/T hot drink, I then used to stand in the corridor and waft the smell down towards the Directors Lounge and the Sponsors boxes.
