Hes been playing with a dislocated first touch ever since we signed him.

It’s amazing he’s got over 250 football league appearances and still only 28. I don’t like to keep knocking an individual player but I’ve never seen anything to justify this amount of appearances many of them at a decent level. Bowyer dropped him earlier in season and he did briefly put on a spurt and scored two in two. But he’s back to being the player we know. Maybe Stuart thinks he can get a tune out of him. He’s picked him in every match. Personally I’ve given up hope if you’ll pardon the pun.

Agree about Anthony O. Apart from Akpan, I still think we're too hasty to off load players, that will simply become magically 'decent' at other clubs and I suggest Mellor is one of them

We of course need to see if Riley recovers from his injury, but I'm struggling to think of who's obviously better, at L2, level than him or Mellor. Likewise the central defenders. If that's the case, i.e. there aren't obviously great alternatives (and anyone is better simply isn't an argument) then surely stability and McCall's good man-management would yield more consistent performances. Like he did with Mark Marshall

Of course these players might not want to stay, but I'd be surprised if Stuart doesn't make offers to some

I went on the Plymouth boards and yes they'd lost, but you'd think that they were below us, such is the extent of their moaning. A few of them think that they won't even make the play-offs. None think they'll get automatic and all think their defence is rubbish,

i.e. yet another big club, by L2 standards, who had administration and subsequent hard times and then tasted better to be viciously slapped back down to reality - now, understandably, having no patience

I'd have no problem with any of the current back five staying (although I think McCall will replace O'Donnell with someone who can distribute better) plus Riley (f proven fit). We forget that all season they've had no protection from a midfield that doesn't have a single tackler (i.e. a player who has that as his biggest strength) in the team - no wonder they are always exposed.

I'm no great fan of Mellor, he often wanders around in a dozy manner - but I thought on Saturday he looked more concentrated than normal and had a tricky player to deal with him and kept him honest. Like McCall is doing for Connolly, maybe his coaching can work on him. Notbaly, as soon as he went off or rather Henley came on - error at RB and they score

There are plenty of other players, that are not worthy of a place in a potential promotion chasing team, Devine, Anderson, Akpan (remember McCall plays him, because we stupidly never bought a CDM), Henley and Gibson

I simply do not want another season, with 10 to 15 new players, just for the sake of it.

In fairness, their fans have been far more grounded in judging the match. Even criticising their Head of Communications for making out it was all the Boyeson's fault (he was rubbish mind you!!)

I think he has talent - application is his problem. Did you see him away to Burton last season? He was an absolute beast. Proper box to box, imposing, strong in the tackle, scored a goal, nearly got a second. Clearly out to prove a point to his old club. It actually annoyed me, because whilst I understand that no player can knock it out of the park every game, to have 1 single stand out performance in 2 years is shambolic. He showed what we was capable of when he's 'up for it'. But generally he doesn't look fit, doesn't look arsed, doesn't play like he wants to be the best version of himself. I can't wait for him to be let go.

Yeah I do remember that one performance. We don’t want players who can’t motivate themselves for every match. He’s playing for his future. If he can’t motivate himself now he certainly wouldn’t with a new contract in his pocket. Fascinating to see where he ends up next season.

    He'll get a league club.

He's a horrendous performer, but his statistics command respect.

Championship appearances, probably a strong highlight reel, the lad does have ability and is every coach's ideal - a decent player who is performing abysmally. If you can bring him up to standard, you've done your job very well indeed.

But in reality, this is one player with an awful mentality, crippled by three successive relegations and beyond all 'Hope'.

Hi, FGR supporter here in peace, no I'm not a vegan, more of a carnivore. Would someone help please, I'm looking for your attendance for last Saturday's match against Plymouth, good result for you chaps. I've searched all over the internet and your clubs match report and can't find it. I really would appreciate help so that I can update my stats, I am the official club statistician for FGR. Kind regards Lady Magpie

All made from bamboo and cabbages Tony Wilkinson, perhaps that's why things aren't going right for the players.

They went there once and found out it was a Toffee factory so didn't stay. You will have to come down when the club has it's annual dance around one of the Chairman's Wind Turbine and pay homage to carrots and sprouts @Onside@Onside.

Just to put a smile on your Bantam Supporters, as the clubs official Stato I used to have a small office along with the PA man at the far end of the main stand's upstairs corridor. As a full vegan football club there was nothing you could buy to eat or drink that wasn't vegan, even the milk. For that reason I used to take a Bovril cube to make my H/T hot drink, I then used to stand in the corridor and waft the smell down towards the Directors Lounge and the Sponsors boxes.
